Kim & Ollie learn Traditional Maori games

Te Awamutu Sports & Recreation Club Inc would like to Thank Kihikihi Primary School Principal, Sunny West and Kaiako, Erin Keremeta-Kapa for inviting our Community Sport Director, Ollie Ward and Club Co-Ordinator, Kim Stojanovic-Swift to the Maori Kite and Takaro maori (traditional Maori games) Wananga (workshop).

This Wananga took place at Kihikihi School on the 25th March 2021 and is delivered by Takaro Maori Expert Harko Brown and his daughter Ivnes.

We highly recommend attending this wananga (workshop) if you are given the opportunity.

Ollie & Kim look forward to sharing the knowledge gifted to them through this workshop to our local Schools and wider community.
