The TA Sports Cycling Club continues to be busy with our Summer and Winter Series races attracting 100+ cyclists each week.
Our current Winter Series (raced over ten Sunday mornings throughout June - August) is proving popular with riders from throughout Auckland and the Waikato as we're one of the only clubs offering racing).
Our riders have experienced a great deal of success at National Championship events on both the track and the road and many of our elite riders are racing in teams overseas during the Northern Hemisphere road season.
It's also pleasing to see our Juniors smashing track records at this year's Nationals in Invercargill. Our club organised and hosted a very successful TA Tour on the 13/14th of May and attracted 180+ riders from throughout the country.
The feedback from riders and supporters was positive and we know the event will grow in popularity and entry numbers. We are very grateful for the support received in terms of funding from our sponsors as well as the grant from Grassroots Trust.
We also provided support in terms of equipment, registration, marshalling judging and results for the successful Cambridge Cycling Festival which was held on ANZAC Day afternoon this year.
